I was curious if anyone here lowered there 14R and if so did it really mess up the handling? I've been considering a 1" drop both front/rear, nothing drastic of course but a little help with the launch and keeping the front down at the track would be nice, besides that they look sick lowered! My concern of course if messing up the handling. Granted its not a hypersport but the bike handles pretty good and I love to rail through the corners and don't want to lose that. Aside from the loss of 1" of ground clearance any adverse effects to lowering? I figure bringing both front and rear down 1" would keep the geometry in tact and theoretically should handle the close to stock but would love to hear from those with experience.
On another note was contemplating getting the PC V as well but does that remove the time retard in 1-3 and the top speed limiter or did I need to go straight ECU flash for that? Is the ECU flash better than the PC V or your pretty much doing the same thing. I've been out dabbling a bit racing it and while nobody has yet to come around it I'd like to make it a bit more difficult lol. I have run a modded out R1 and a lowered/stretched/motorwork GSXR 1000 and won pretty handily but there are some fast bikes and I can't have just anyone dethroning the king of the road (you can chuckle at that comment it's ok, all tongue in cheek of course). I know there is always someone fast (i.e turbo busa) but I'd like to make it a touch quicker.
Exhaust. It seems Brocks is the favorite here too. I really love the duel pipes, I know you get more from the 4-2-1 but call me old fashioned I like the look. Which Brock setup would be best (or other system).
Thanks in advance...
